After 16 of years working in office administration and 6 years as a Licensed Massage Therapist, I became a mother when my daughter was adopted at birth. This long awaited child came with so much determination that, even as an infant, she inspired me to go back to school. I needed to keep up with her! And I wanted to set an example of doing what it takes to pursue goals and dreams.

In 2019 I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design (RMCAD) majoring in Illustration. I loved art school so much that, in the process of learning, I felt the pull to teach.

In 2020 I opened a little studio near my home where I started to teach children art during the summers. In August of 2022 I became a full-time Visual Arts teacher sharing my time everyday between the middle and elementary schools. I’m beyond grateful to be living my dream!
