Below is a selection of projects I completed while at Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design. While not all-inclusive of the projects in my illustration major, this gallery is meant to demonstrate the variety of mediums and projects I became familiar with, including: acrylic, oil, watercolor, and digital painting; ink, pencil, figure drawing, palette knife painting, graphic design, hand lettering, surface pattern design, book cover design, and 3D design.

3D Design Concepts
All of these 3D Design projects are concepts in that the time frame of the course was highly condensed. But they are endeared to me because of the effort I put into them–enough so that I have had hopes of remaking each of them, as I fully envisioned them. For example, the dragon assignment was to create an armature of our choosing (I love dragons) and then add elements of repetition and texture. One thing I would do next time is purchase artificial flowers that are higher quality, allowing them to lay flatter, more naturally like dragon scales might.
This brings me to an overall, fundamental lesson learned about being an art student (or any student, for that matter): I can be satisfied that I did my best with constraints placed upon me and the things I learned from their creation can be drawn upon in future projects.
